Flaw Erasing Concealers

Since few of us have truly perfect skin, concealer is among the make-up must-haves. Different from foundation and powder, concealer is thicker and better covers flaws.

In order to hide under-eye circles, apply concealer to the inner and outer corners of the eye, and the inner corner of the bridge of the nose- gently patting it in. Matching your concealer to your face color is always a safe bet, but there is benefit to colored concealers as well. Light green concealers cover redness in the skin. Pink balances out blue and gray tones which tends to show up under the eyes.  Yellow based concealers brighten by evening out pink tones. Orange and peach are great for darker skin because they correct blue tones under the eyes and purple and blue counteract yellowness in sallow skin.

A fantastic concealer to try is Chanel Lift Lumiere Smoothing and Rejuvenating Eye Contour Concealer.  It instantly lightens dark circles to perfect the eye area and has a blend of anti-puff ingredients that target the fluid that causes tired-looking eyes. $45
