How to wake up prettierYou get out of bed in the morning, stumble to the bathroom, glance in the mirror and wonder, “Who the hell is that?”  Although sleep is what our bodies need to recharge, our face and hair can look like we’ve been through a war.

Here are the Top 10 Ways to Wake up Prettier:

1.  Sleep on your back.  If you sleep on your face you will end up with wrinkles and swollen eyes.  Adjusting to sleeping on your back takes work, but it’s so worth it.  If you can, sleep on two pillows for less swelling to the face.

2.  Self tan before bed and wake up refreshed looking.  Just remember to let it dry before you hit the hay.

3.  Moisturize.  Everywhere.

4.  Put hair into a high pony tail with a soft scrunchie type tie to prevent creases in hair.  They are completely out of style to wear outside of the house, but to wear them to bed at night is just fine.

5.  Sleep on a satin pillowcase for smoother hair.

6.  Drink lots of water before bed.  Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

7.  Apply a mask (before the self tanner).  Moisture mask, exfoliating masks and peels are all going to help your skin look brighter and healthier in the morning.

8.  Stay away from the salty foods.  You can just feel the bloat coming on when you eat super salty foods before bed time. Everything swells from salt.  Eyelids included.

9.  Use lip balm excessively and let is soak into your kisser overnight.

10.  Slater your feet in heavy creams and wear socks to wake up with super soft feet.
