Dermatix Scar Treatment Review

scar gelScars are a natural part of the healing process. That doesn’t mean you have to like them though.  Sometimes they cause itching, depression, anxiety and low self-esteem.  I know this first hand because of an infection I had that caused an unsightly scar on my face.  I didn’t want to look anyone in the eye.  I kept my long hair covering half of my face for many months.

As I was looking for a product to speed up the repair of my skin, I became aware of Dermatix – a topical, silcone based gel which is clinically proven to significantly improve the appearance of scars.  It is also found to flatten, soften and reduce scar-associated discoloration in old or new scars and is used in the prevention of abnormal scar formation.

I started applying it religiously at least twice a day.  I also began simultaneously using it on a bad gash that my son received on his elbow.  When I tell you that the within one month there was notable improvement and after two months incredible improvement, I wouldn’t be exaggerating.Enough said. I can now hold my head high with my hair pulled back in a pony tail.

Dermatix Scar Treatment should not be used until your stitches have been removed and your wound has healed. A three to four-inch scar that is less than 1/2-inch wide can be treated with just a pea-sized amount of this gel. You can continue to use this gel as long as you see improvement.

Right now Dermatix is available in the UK.  You can find more information out at Dermatix.
