St Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse Review

st tropez tanning mousse review

Summer calls for shorts and sundresses and tank tops and that tends to mean exposed skin, but after months of grey skies a natural tan can be a challenge as the season kicks off. Never fear, there is an abundance of great ways to fake it on the market, and my favorite is the St. Tropez Self Tan Bronzing Mousse.  If you’re nervous about streaks – it’s formulated with a guide color so you can see where you’re tanning when applying, that way you know if you’ve missed a bit or not. And do not concern yourself about that tell-tale tanner smell.  It’s not there.  At all.

This mousse is hand-applied and absolutely requires using a mitt to slather it on. Truly the mitt is the tanning essential.  It is what a make-up brush is to make-up and what a hair brush is to hair. A mitt ensures the product is distributed evenly onto the skin and also stops you from getting tan on your hands – we all know Oompa Loompa hands are not pretty.

Exfoliate your skin prior to application for best results. This creates a smooth and even surface for the tan to be applied to. After your tan has developed, make sure you moisturize daily to keep your new glow hydrated, your skin nourished and prevent that mottled cracking effect from happening.

Now go on and your glow on. Sephora $19-42
