Two Spring Beauty Trends NOT To Try

by Laura Kronen on April 6, 2011

The runway has inspired many a beauty trend, but they are not always good, or translatable to the general public. Take day-glo lips for example. Bold fuchsia and bright coral lips do not look good on anyone, except maybe a Barbie Doll. A close-up photo of ultra-bright, glossy lips, makes the color look incredibly tempting to try, but it’s really hard to pull off. Same with neon shades of eyeshadows. Vivid shades of orange, red, pink and yellow are excellent in the rainbow, but on the eyelids. definitely not. ┬áThese unorthodox colors are popping up on every runway and in all the spring magazines, but there is where they should stay.
