Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Mask Review

by Laura Kronen on March 4, 2013

Pumpkin MaskDid it ever cross your mind when pumpkin carving to scoop out the pumpkin guts and rub them all over your face?  Maybe not, but the Michael Todd True Organics Pumpkin Mask is pretty darn close to doing that.  It smells like fresh baked pumpkin pie, looks like canned pumpkin, and its organic. Just those characteristics alone are all that is needed to sell me on this nutrient-rich facial mask.

A light chemical peel, the high concentrations of Pumpkin Enzymes have been blended with Glycolic Acid from sugar cane to seriously exfoliate the skin and give you that flawless complexion you have often stared in the mirror longing for. It also contains Bilberry which is known to reduce inflammation, giving a soothing effect to what the other two highly active ingredients are doing. Remember that chemical exfoliating does make your skin more susceptible to the sun, so be sure to wear sunscreen – although I shouldn’t have to tell you that, should I?

This mask is tingly.  Like really tingly.  In fact, for the first minute, it is intensely tingly.  But, I like that – It FEELS likes it’s working. It is aggressively dissolving dead skin and unclogging pores.  And, after 5-10 minutes, when you wash it off, you immediately see the difference.  That je ne sais quoi.  Thats glow. But, the clincher – what really got me hooked, was how smooth my skin felt.  I usually make anyone within the confines of my house feel my face after I use the mask.  It’s that impressive.

Definitely not for sensitive skin, but for those that can handle it, you can’t get a better peel without a visit to your dermatologist’s office and a decent sized tab to pay at the end.
