When you are a Type 1 Diabetic you are much TOO SWEET

by Laura Kronen on October 8, 2013

sugar lipsI know, first hand, how hard diabetes is to live with. I am a Type 1 diabetic and have been for 20 years.  There are 24 million other people in the US living with diabetes and over 350 MILLION people with it all around the world. This is a disease of epic proportions.

When you have diabetes, you never get a break from the disease for even a single day, for your entire lifeCan you imagine having to think about every little thing you put in your mouth and taking endless shots and blood glucose tests to manage it? Now, let’s add on all of the complications that a diabetic faces the longer they have the disease. Bottom line – diabetes is evil.

The only way to rid the world of this devastating disease is with the work of highly intelligent researchers and doctors and the help of people like YOU.  The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes is Sunday October 20th in Atlanta.  Be You Only Better will be walking and raising money to help find a cure.  So far, we are a little over halfway to our goal of $2500.  Can you please find it in your heart to donate, even the smallest amount, to help eradicate this disease from the planet?

Every day I hope and wish and pray that this is the day that a cure is found.  One day I will be celebrating, but for now I am asking for your help and support. Click here to donate. Thank you from the bottom of my sugary sweet soul.

With love,

Laura
